Running Club
Sacramento FrontRunners and FrontWalkers is a running and walking club for individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+), and allies. Being LGBTQ+ is not a prerequisite to join us. We embrace runners and walkers of all paces, ages, and skill levels!
Activities

Join us Saturday mornings 9am for our 3- to 5-mile run along the American River, followed by coffee. Guy West Bridge (northeast side - navigate GPS to 945 University Avenue).

We run Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. We meet at the McKinley Park Tennis Courts for a 3-mile loop.

Fourth Wednesday social hour run at 6:30pm at Radclyffe’s, followed by 7:15pm happy hour.

June 2026 will be our 6th annual Pride 5K Run & 3K Walk. Details are forthcoming.

From summer picnics to Saturday brunches, we create many opportunities to connect with fellow runners.

Sacramento FrontRunners began in 1992 with two runners and a simple idea, growing into a vibrant, inclusive community built on movement, friendship, and pride.

Our mission is to foster a supportive, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ runners and walkers to build community, improve well-being, and celebrate every journey.
